• New guides section

  We added a new section with online interactive guides. This will enable you to better understand the various functionalities of the platform. The online guides include detailed instructions about the enrolment in a course, groups, grades and more..You can access the "User Guides" at any time through the Menu Bar or your Dashboard page. Keep in mind that this section will be updated with new guides in the future

• New writing-typing Activity

  After identifying a weakness in activities that require students to type their answers, we have made a significant improvement to the way "write a word, phrase or sentence" activities are checked and graded. In the previous version writing activities would perceive extra spaces accidentally typed before, after or between words as mistakes and consequently consider the answers provided as being wrong. As a result, students would receive a failing grade even though the individual words given as answers were correct.

  The new updated activity:

1. Checks students’ responses word by word and disregards extra spaces, thus accurately grading answers. (image below)
2. Displays an underscore in autocorrect mode if students do not type anything in the gap. (image below)

• Interactions Report (for teachers)

  In this report, Teachers can view students’ answers for the writing/typing activities along with the correct answers. Check the Online guides section for more information.

  
• Grade book Update

  We have revised the Grade book in all the courses. You can see your grades listed in categories according to the course's sections. Additionally, there will be a total grade average for each section. We have also added a new Report to the students' profile pages: Outline report. This report gives you information about the time and level of completion and the total score in the course. Outline report is available only for Teachers.
